YA Book Club for Adults: Y Not
Sign up starts on Monday December 12, 2016. Please sign up early as space is limited!
Please join us for this educational and unique Book Club for Adults as we read what our young adult patrons are reading. All titles reflected on this flyer have received critical acclaim and each one represents a different genre. In our Book Club we will read and discuss the Stalinist genocide of the Baltic people, sexual violence and victimization in high school, a dystopian society that crushes individuality and a coming of age story set against the backdrop of a true murder which took place in the early 20th century. These stories are interesting, thought provoking and diverse.
Mr. Mark Banchi will once again be our group facilitator. Mr. Banchi has over 36 years teaching experience with an extensive background in literature and the humanities. He has led other book clubs at our library, and he is looking forward to facilitating this series.
This club is limited to 25 participants. The first 25 who sign up will receive copies of each book. An additional five patrons will be able to sign up but will be responsible for obtaining their own books.
